What to keep in mind
This is just a rough indication and every year is going to be a bit different. For example, this year we’ve had a warm winter in Melbourne and a lot of crops are starting to mature quicker than normal.
You might already be seeing some spring produce at markets and you can expect if the weather continues this way that you won’t be waiting until December for summer fruit & veg.
The best way to find out what’s available right now is to head to a market and have a chat with your local farmer! They’ll be able to tell you what to expect not just this season, but this year’s season.
